The Acase is perfect if you want leather but a slim fit and light design that won’t strain your arms when you’re holding the device yourself, rather than using the stand.  For under $20 this is a great little case.  The leather is perhaps not über luxurious, but it is decent enough quality and the fit is great.

The flip stand lets you prop the ebook reader up at various angles, and the pocket that holds the device is pretty tight fitting so gives security to the gadget itself.

For a good looking leather Kindle cover with stand it is great for the money.  However, for under $20 do not expect to get the best quality finish, stitching or leather.  For that you do have to pay a little more.  But for a practical cover that doesn’t break the bank it is definitely worth a look.

For all the customer reviews written so far just click the image at the top of the page.  On the whole reviews are very positive giving 4 out of 5 stars overall.  The good points tend to be repeated again and again:

• Comfortable to hold
• Good fit
• Handy flip stand
• Looks good

However, of course there are a few negatives too.

• Not all constructed of leather, so you do get a synthetic smell initially
• Perhaps not strong enough to last years of use
• Occasional poor fit.

For the money, the occasional negative reaction is to be expected.  My advice, is that if this suits your style and your wallet order it, but if the fit isn’t right when it arrives ask for an exchange.  Far more customers are happy with the fit than not so it seems to me there may simply be a small batch that fitted poorly

You can view all customer reviews of the Acase Classic by clicking the image at the top.  At the time of writing there were around a hundred reviews.  The average star rating is 4 out of 5 which is very impressive for such a discount cover, particularly when you see that over half the respondents so far have rated this case 5 out of 5.  It might not turn heads in quite the same way as a luxury Cole Haan Kindle jacket might, but if you want something that “does exactly what it says on the tin”, this is the perfect cover for the Kindle 3!
